Weekend Reading for August 17, 2012

After much speculation, Mitt Romney recently announced his VP pick:  Paul Ryan.  While he is a controversial candidate, choosing Ryan will help Romney appeal to fiscal conservatives and those in the Tea Party.  Romney has been trailing slightly behind Obama in the polls, so this might be the push he needs to move ahead.
