Firstrade announced they now offer 10 ETFs that are commission free. They joined the list of discount brokers that offer commission free ETFs. If you sell one of the ETFs within 30 days of purchase, the $6.95 commission fee will apply.
This is a decent list of stock, and bond funds in order to get proper asset allocation. They even threw in a commodity index fund into the mix. All are sub 1% expense ratio, and iShares S&P 500 Index Fund (IVV) has one of the lowest expense ratios at 0.09%. For more information please visit their web site.
