The government has temporarily “solved” the debt crisis, but what a disaster in the wake of their agreement.  The stock market closed down 500 points, gold is at a new record high of $1678.50, and I see a double dip recession looming. 

With just a few days left in the debt ceiling debate, all eyes are on John Boehner and his proposed bill.  Meanwhile, at Obama’s urging, politicians are fielding calls from Americans.  The price of gold continues to rise.  Will it all be resolved by next week?
